Kristine
A. Hoernemann is a Masters prepared professional with over 14 years
of strong paralegal experience in most areas of the law as well as a
strong management background as a Paralegal Manager. Her
accomplishments include management, program development, planning,
and budgeting. As Paralegal Manager in the Air Force Reserve
component, she has successfully planned, recruited and staffed
several military law offices as well as created successful programs,
e.g., law firms-military partnerships and community outreach, from
concept development through implementation at multiple sites. She
currently serves as a paralegal liaison on a national level
cross-functional team conducting strategic planning for funding to
better train and educate paralegals for a successful career in the
Air Force as well as transition them into the civilian sector.
Finally, she has developed and overseen fiscal year operational
budgets that enable law offices to provide exceptional and timely
customer service for military clients and civilian counterparts.
Kristine has extensive knowledge and experience
in employment and labor law, e.g., FMLA, FLSA, USERRA, EEOC, etc.
She's also highly experienced and knowledgeable in various areas of
general litigation, to include medical malpractice, contracts,
Workers' Compensation, etc., for both Plaintiff and Defense. She has
impeccable organizational and time management skills.
Kristine's education includes a M.A. in Human
Resources Management and a B.A. in Business Administration, with
a Minor in English and a paralegal certificate. She is a
proud member of the Society of Human Resource Management, the
Human Resource Management Association of Kansas City and the
Kansas City Paralegal Association.
